anons i feel so paranoid in regards to future ikon fandom ): i feel like its gonna be full of member stans and whatnot, especially since there's already so many bobby stans who think his talent is wasted in ikon. i feel like winner will never have to deal with that

apparently you've never met the mino stans who felt that his talents are wasted in another "ballad" group.

are you kidding? that's so fucking stupid. mino isn't in winner because of unfortunate circumstance. he obviously wants to be part of a group for whatever reason, more chance at mainstream success or what, conaiderinf winner is his the third idol group he's been attached to. you'd think most mino fans would be over the moon that the guy who missed out on block b, had his last group actually disband, managed to get into yg of all places

da yeah idg how anyone could feel this way? i understood ppl thinking ksy is wasted, but mino hit the jackpot

there will always be some member only stans, i've seen a few mino ones too, but yeah double b will probably be the faves of many

i always thought winner were the ones with more distinct personalities so they'd have more individual stans (and also bc of their activities pre-winner) but it's nice seeing that everyone loves all the members or at least cares about the whole group

i feel like their individuality helps their case? because i think they stick out so much that no one really seems buried or held down by the group? plus the screentime for winner was always a lot more equal, and i think so much of win focused on them getting their shit together as a group made people warm up to the idea

hopefully those bobby only stans won't actually get involved in fandom. it is sort of annoyingt though seeing so many people talk about how bobby should jump from yg

yeah luckily winner doesn't seem to have too many member stans, or at least the obnoxious kind. at most i've seen people mourning the fact seungyoon was made into an idol and thinking everyone except him sucks, but they're easy to ignore imo

i started as an annoying SEUNGYOON SHOULD STAY SOLO!!! stan and it took me one episode of win to change my mind lmao

lol i don't blame you anon, seungyoon is great and i hope he gets chances to do solo side projects in the future. but i love him in winner :) i think he really benefits them, and they benefit him too

it's smtm3's fault :( and yg/mnet had to be so biased and give all the screen time to the golden trio in mix & match instead of promoting the other members. on the bright side, i think the ikon fandom has the potential to be really big like exo's?

it's interesting to me because winner never had the ot6 brotherhood thing that ikon has, but most winner fans support all 5

yeah i think ikon fandom is gonna be really big, especially because they're all so young AND they have 7 members. on the other hand exo fandom is legit downright terrible and i'm saying this as an exo fan ):

i'm an exo fan too and ia lol /o\ i don't really mind as long as they don't ruin the ikon's lives by being sasaengs and don't become the type of fans that shove otps to the members to the point that the members become uncomfortable and end up drifting away from each other

after the thing about donghyuk getting hurt i'm hoping it doesn't get worse than bad times at airports. winner is almost lucky because despite maybe having a smaller fandom, most of their fans are probably gonna be older and they won't face as much fan stress. i really hope the obnoxious otp stuff doesn't happen ): but tbh i can see it happening with double b because of how it's so heavily promoted

tbf with yg, i think they're is pretty good with security. winner got mobbed in hong kong too (though not as bad as ikon's), but they immediately learned from that and made them go to the vip exit next time. i really hate that sm didn't much about that for exo (probably for mediaplay)

omg anon. i'll be so pressed if double b ends up avoiding each other because of obnoxious shippers ;;

have you seen winner tv anon? it's hard not to support all five of them after watching that lol. also during win they were slated as the underdog team for a really long time, so i think that did a good job in making people root for all five of them

ikon themselves may be all about the ot6, but unfortunately the editing and yg himself wasn't ):

i remember disliking jinwoo in win ep 4 to the point of wanting him out of the group ;; but i started to like him because of smile again and winner tv made me love him. both shows were great lol

yeah :( it's obvious that despite yg's bias for 3 kims, he didn't care about the others. i think an ikon tv will make people appreciate the others more

lol was ep 4 the one where he forgot the lyrics? i was so greatly unimpressed with him then and i didn't like him either. i think i started liking him when stuff about how he stressed out the most as a trainee came out, and when he was like "seungyoon even wrote a part i can sing in smile again" which made me ;; and then yeah winner tv, esp when they went to imja made me love him (my favourite bit of winner tv is still when he told them all matter of fact "they call my dad red hot chili(?)". then when they arrived on the island mino and seunghoon in their most obnoxious voices were yelling "RED HOT CHILLI'S SON HAS ARRIVED" "THE SON IS HERE!" and jinwoo was yelling at them to stop lol)

lmao anon i wouldn't be surprised if even ikon tv was edited to maximise the golden trio's time. i feel like junhwe is probably going to get fairly popular too? but his fans might be the bitter kind who all hate the fact he's second fiddle to jinhwan all the time ): i hope ikon fandom really proves me wrong

yeah i love how most incles love all of the members. Sure they have their UB but they recognize and respect the value of the other members.

even jinwoo! they all admit he isn't the most talented but they love him regardless
