i remember reading stuff about how jimin wanted to go to yg initially but she was really late in making up her mind and all the spots in yg was filled up with lower ranking contestants already. imo she suits jyp though, i really can't see her in yg (though i can't see hana either tbh)
ah really? that's true i really can't see jimin in yg. yg is great in giving a "different" concept for his debuts and i can't see how he'll make jimin different as a solo artist. although i really didn't see hanna in yg either and she's like a jimin 2.0 to me lol. it's a surprise to me how well she did in mix & match. ig anyone can be in yg if that person and yg put their minds to it lol
i feel like she was more serviceable than anything else to me? like she did well because of the entire concept and the other three in stage with her made it fun. but yeah you make a good point, i feel like yg is good at turning people yg-ish (except hongseok apparently otl). but jimin is so... idk fluffy-ish?
oh i actually thought she did well but still not good enough for solo like jimin or lee hi. i can't really see her in yg but she fit the yg-ish concept they had for let's get it started. she still lacks charisma, but she would be good for the new girl group. do they even have vocalists besides that unknown gd without you girl?
