correct me if i'm wrong but i was wondering about fandom's preoccupation with legality - is this fixation with idols being 18 before writing them in porn an american thing? cuz age of consent's different in other countries...
right? i had friends freaking out about a 20 year old's bambam tags and i was just like...17 is a year above the age of consent in this chick's state so why get up in arms
i can understand if ppl feel uncomfortable with it themselves, but i just hate it when they try and impose it on other ppl. but at the same time i do think there's a line somewhere, i mean 17 isn't a big deal to me, but i'd side-eye someone if they wrote porn about a 13 yo y'know?
ia that's ridiculous, esp when they shame other ppl for it. i mean these 16/17 year olds are in a highly sexualized and problematic industry to begin with, i doubt someone writing smut about them is what they need protection from. i just mean if you're uncomfortable with it personally i think it's fine, but the shaming thing has to stop
i feel like it says a lot that the concept of uncle fans, 30+ year olds liking suzy and iu (esp when they were only about 16/17) has become so normalised even though it's way creepier. but ppl are a lot more up in arms about 21 year olds sexualizing 17 year old june
